Tip 2: Deliverance and Allergy, Cold, and Flu Kit

I intended to talk about ways to apply the oils in this tip but I feel a need to talk about a very important oil to have on hand – Deliverance.

Deliverance is a Butterfly Express Blend made of; Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Lemon myrtle, Cinnamon bark, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano and Wild Oregano. It is an immune booster which also eliminates airborne bacteria and viruses. In fact, Deliverance is one of the most potent antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal combinations available. There is an often told true story; that back in the day of the plague, the grave robbers used these spices and did not catch the plague.

When I feel the first inclination that I may be getting sick (a tickle in my throat or just a general feeling of not feeling well etc.) I pull out the Deliverance, dilute it with carrier oil and put it on the bottoms of my feet and then breathe my hands to allow the aroma to get in through my olfactory sensors. I also diffuse it throughout the day to give an added boost to my immune system. If I jump right on using the oils before the sickness gets a hold of me – it’s almost always gone by morning. If I wait until it starts to settle in (such as a cold) then I add Breezey (a Butterfly Express Blend made of; birch, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint and ravensara) by diluting it and applying it on my chest and then breathing my hands. If I have been neglectful and allowed a cold to settle in real good in my chest; I add the Butterfly Express Blend Aspire (made of; cypress, eucalyptus, laurel, marjoram, peppermint, pine needle, rosemary and spruce). I like to dilute Aspire with carrier oil and put it on my back over the lung area and then breathe my hands for that added support through my olfactory. If I am using the oils for more than a day or two, I trade off putting one on my lung area and one on my chest. All three of these come in my Allergy, Cold, and Flu Kit. If I had to choose just one oil (to have on hand – that would assist with a wide range of ailments), it would be Deliverance. I would not be caught without it, a must in every medicine cabinet.

A few additional things Deliverance can assist with are; sore throats (I put a drop on my toothbrush with my toothpaste), warts (apply directly on wart without dilution), dental disease (brush daily with a drop on toothbrush or add a drop to water and gargle), canker sores (apply direct – a drop- without diluting). I have had several people tell me this takes it down considerably overnight. Other uses are; warts (apply direct and be patient – it takes time), athlete’s foot, toe nail fungus (add few drops to water and soak, or put drop directly on toenail), slivers, cuts, respiratory infections and helps the lymph system to drain. It can also be used as a household cleaner (diluted) or an air purifier (diffuse or dilute and mist). Some of you can add more uses. I’d love to hear your success stories with Deliverance. The uses are endless for this wonderful oil.

There are some “hot” oils (cinnamon, clove, thyme and oregano) in this blend, which means that if you don’t dilute the oil it may cause skin irritation. Blends are generally milder on the skin than the singles. Deliverance is a definitely one of my favorites I wouldn’t be without.
